 The Saginaw County Republican Party will host a Tailgate Party in the parking lot of our Victory Center, 3017 Bay Rd, Saginaw. We'll be there on Saturday, October 18th, from 12:00noon-3:00pm. Come out and meet the candidates, enjoy some hot dogs, soft drinks, popcorn and more. Plus, we'll have kids' activities and it's all free! Have fun at our Tailgate Party and then watch your favorite game back at home. |
Great Lakes Bay Speaker Forum to Host Dr. Harry Veryser

The Great Lakes Bay Speaker Forum will host Dr. Harry Veryser on Sunday, October 12th. The event will be at the Bay Valley Resort & Conference Center, 2470 Old Bridge Rd, Bay City, from 7:00-9:00pm. Dr. Veryser will be talking about economic concepts, theories, and history and how it relates to our present economy. He will also be discussing where he believes the Obama administration and the progressive/liberal movement is headed, as well as the current minimum wage protests and their impact upon our economy. Can the American economy be recovered?
Dr. Veryser is an Adjunct Professor of Economics at the University of Detroit-Mercy and has received the Will Herberg Award for outstanding faculty service from the Intercollegiate Studies Institute. He is the author of several books on economics including, "It Didn't Have to Be This Way". This book will be offered for sale at the event by the author and he will be personalizing them for anyone that requests it.

Carrollton Voter Information Night

 As they have for each election in recent years, Carrollton Schools will have a Voter Information Night. The event is on Tuesday, October 28th at 6:45pm, with doors open at 6:00pm. Meet in the Carrollton Middle School Library & Cafeteria, 3211 Carla Dr., Carrollton. Local WNEM News anchors Sam Merrill and Katie O'Mara will moderate the event. There is NO charge. Please attend and support our Republican candidates! |
