Dear Friends,

Again for the final presidential debate, the Saginaw County Republican Party will have a debate watch at our headquarters, 3071 Bay Road, Saginaw.  The debate is of course today, October 16th, at 9:00pm.  But come early at 7:30pm and help make some phone calls for Mitt Romney!

At headquarters, 3071 Bay Road, Saginaw.  Get 'em while they're hot!

It's The Senate, Stupid!
stupid sticker While electing Mitt Romney as president is important to getting this country back on track, he will have little chance of accomplishing goals such as repealing Obamacare unless he has a Republican Senate to work with.  In Michigan, that means voting for Pete Hoekstra.

But it also means helping Senate candidates in other states to ensure a Republican majority.  Here's some of the Republican candidates for Senate around the country that are in tight races, according to the averages of several polls as reported by Real Clear Politics.  Check out their websites to see which ones you could support financially.

Josh Mandel - Ohio (possible pickup seat; incumbent is Democrat)
Scott Brown - Massachusetts
Richard Mourdock - Indiana
Denny Rehberg - Montana (possible pickup seat; incumbent is Democrat)
Rick Berg - North Dakota (possible pickup seat; incumbent is Democrat)
Jeff Flake - Arizona

Or, if you would rather help generally and not pick someone, these two organizations are working to elect all Republican Senate candidates:
Senate Conservatives Fund,
National Republican Senatorial Committee.

Why (NOT) To Vote Democrat
curious voter

When your friends cannot explain why they voted for Democrats, give them this list. They can then pick their reasons from these "TOP 10".

1. I voted Democrat because I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene, but the government tax of 15% on the same gallon of gas isn't.
2. I voted Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.
3. I voted Democrat because Freedom of Speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.
4. I voted Democrat because I'm way too irresponsible to own a gun, and I know that my local police are all I need to protect me from  murderers and thieves.
5. I voted Democrat because I believe that people who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday can tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years.
6. I voted Democrat because I'm not concerned about millions of babies being aborted so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.
7. I voted Democrat because I think illegal aliens have a right to free health care, education, and Social Security benefits.
8. I voted Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits. Instead, they need only break even and give the rest to the government for redistribution as the Democrats see fit.
9. I voted Democrat because I believe liberal judges need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some group who would never get their agendas past the voters.
10. I voted Democrat because while we live in the greatest, most wonderful country in the world, I was promised "HOPE AND CHANGE".
