Lost Pet? Call the Allen Animal Shelter. |
 |
The Allen Animal Shelter is dealing with an influx of stray dogs during this stormy weather. Sometimes animals get spooked by thunder or lightning and take off; other times they escape a fenced yard through a gate that has blown open. If your dog is missing, please call the shelter at 214.509.4378. Stray pets are kept for at least five days before being offered for adoption.
Remember that all dogs, cats and ferrets in the City of Allen are required to display a collar with vaccination information and a city registration tag at all times. The registration tag costs $5 ($30 if your pet has not been spayed/neutered) and can be purchased at Allen Animal Shelter (770 S. Allen Heights Dr.). |
