Allen residents are beginning 2015 with another reason to love their city. Apartment List just ranked the City of Allen among the 100 Best Cities for Young Families. In fact, we're #2!
The rankings were based on safety (35%), housing cost (30%), school quality (25%) and child friendliness (10%). Apartment List noted Allen Independent School District's "stellar" graduation rate and says the city is a great place for sports fans. Editors admit Allen barely missed the top of the list, with rents in Fishers, Ind. a few dollars cheaper on average. (However, with the temperatures in Fishers dropping to 3° this weekend, we know which city we'd rather call home!)
You can check out the full city rankings on the Apartment List website. |
