Your Allen Event Center and Texas Health Allen have teamed up to offer a very special Holiday Hat Trick in celebration of the season. This series of free and open to the public events spans three days and helps benefit the annual Toys for Tots campaign. On Thursday, Dec. 4, cheer your Allen Eagles Hockey team as they face the Jesuit Rangers on the American's home ice. The following Thursday, Dec. 11, bring a new and unwrapped toy donation to the Fox 4 Toys for Tots drive outside Allen Event Center, then step inside to watch Frozen on the big screens inside the arena. The following evening, Friday, Dec. 12, enjoy the area's top local skaters in a fabulous Winter Wonderland themed Holiday on Ice Show. Get your calendars marked now and plan to score this Holiday Hat Trick with Allen Event Center!
Kick December Off with a Weekend Full of Family Fun all Around Allen
Allen starts off the December holiday season with loads of fun for the whole family! It all begins with the annual Christmas Tree Lighting at Allen Civic Plaza on Friday, Dec. 5. The weekend continues on the morning of Saturday, Dec. 6 with the Rudolph Run and the Kiwanis Annual Pancake Breakfast, where the kids can visit with Santa. Later, there are three times for Tea with the Sugar Plum Fairy hosted by Allen Civic Ballet. Then you can let your kids (grades 3 - 6) Jingle the Night Away at Saturday Night Rec N Roll at Joe Farmer Recreation Center. Or take the whole family to see The Best Christmas Pageant Ever by Allen's Community Theatre. The weekend wraps up Sunday, Dec. 7 with the Rotary Christmas Parade downtown celebrating Christmas Through the Decades.

There will be plenty to do all month long in Allen. Visit CityOfAllen.org/EventCalendar to learn more.
