This Saturday, Allen Recycles Day wants you to "Just Bring It" and then share a #RecycleSelfie showing how great it is to keep Allen beautiful. Allen Recycles Day takes place Saturday, November 8 at two locations from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Bring donations, shredding and recyclable goods to Allen City Hall, 305 Century Parkway. | Sidewalk, Alley and Street Repair Bid Awarded |

 Recently, the Allen City Council awarded a bid to Bowman Construction Company for the ongoing maintenance program to repair and replace aging sidewalks, alleys and streets. With a project cost of approximately $1.2 million, this city-wide project includes approximately 4,579 square yards of alley pavement reconstruction; 5,823 square yards of roadway pavement repair; installation of 18 barrier free ramps (BFR); and 158 linear feet of curb and gutter repair.
