The Allen Police Department is again partnering with the Allen Independent School District, Texas Health Allen, and other departments within the City of Allen to collect expired pharmaceuticals, over the counter drugs, and vitamins. The Medication Take-back event runs from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the south parking lot of the Lowery Freshman Center, 601 E. Main Street. The pharmaceuticals will be delivered to the DEA and they will destroy them. Texas Health Resources will take and dispose of the sharps.
There will only be one take back site this fall - please help spread the word. This program protects our landfills and water systems.
