Part Three - Every Drop Counts: Prevention Against Water Loss
As the four-part series "Every Drop Counts" continues, we show you how the City of Allen works to prevent accidental water loss before the issue becomes too large. The city uses leak detection equipment and monitors water levels in the system to ensure that nothing is being lost before residents can use it.

Help Shape Allen - Boards & Commissions Still Accepting Applications
Have you wanted to help guide the growth of our community and shape policies, services and programs in Allen? If so, submit your application now to serve on one of our numerous City of Allen Boards and Commissions. While most boards are advisory in nature, Allen City Council depends on the important role each one plays. Anyone interested in serving is encouraged to attend one or more meetings to learn about current activities and see how the board works.

Volunteer applications are available online or through the City Secretary's Office, 3rd Floor at Allen City Hall, 305 Century Parkway. Applications for City of Allen Boards and Commissions will be accepted through August 8.

And remember, if you are unable to serve on one of the City boards, there are a variety of civic and social organizations in need of volunteers year-round. Visit www.CityofAllen.org/Volunteers to learn more.
