A Few Reminders from Allen Police and Fire Departments
The Allen Police Department will increase DWI enforcement through July 7 to include the Fourth of July holiday which is the most deadly DWI day of the year. The increased patrols that target impaired driving are funded through a grant from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

The Allen Fire and Allen Police Departments also want to remind everyone that the possession and use of fireworks are prohibited within city limits. This is a Class C misdemeanor with a fine up to $2,000.

Every year on the 4th of July, 9-1-1 centers become overloaded with non-emergency fireworks calls. Please DO NOT call 9-1-1 unless you have a life-threatening emergency and need immediate help from police, fire or paramedics. Fireworks violations may be reported by calling non-emergency dispatch at 214.509.4321.

Reminder:  Seasonal Watering Restrictions Continue
Customers must use the Stage 3 Outdoor Watering Schedule Map and the Watering Week Schedule Calendar to identify what day watering is permitted for their neighborhood. Learn More...

The monthly watering schedule will be released online at the end of each month for the upcoming month as lake levels, weather patterns and the related drought impact will be closely monitored and conditions might prompt further changes or the enactment of Stage 4 water restrictions.
