Tomorrow is Market Street Allen USA presented by Texas Health | Allen! And this year's Harley-Davidson of Dallas Firework Show is sure to bring out the red, white and blue in you! The night sky will light up around 10 p.m. for the best 25 minutes of synchronized fireworks you've ever seen.
Make note that there will be several road closures around Celebration Park on Saturday to allow for safe access in and around the park from beginning to end.
Remember, even though the skies are a bit cloudy, Market Street Allen USA Celebration is a "rain or shine" event. We do have a back up location at Allen Event Center for all band performances. Make sure to check the forecast and AllenUSA.org or CityOfAllen.org for any updates to scheduled activities.
Grounds open at 4 p.m. You can learn about all of the zones and more at AllenUSA.org.

Increased Holiday DWI Enforcement - Don't Drink and Drive this Fourth of July |
 |
The Allen Police Department will increase DWI enforcement from June 27 through July 7 to include the Fourth of July holiday which is the most deadly DWI day of the year. The increased patrols that target impaired driving are funded through a grant from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).
According to TxDOT, Independence Day traditionally ranks among the deadliest holiday periods on Texas highways as a result of alcohol-related crashes. Please help the citizens of Allen have a safe and sober Fourth of July holiday.

Seasonal Watering Restrictions Continue with an Adjustment |
 |
Customers may use sprinklers or irrigation systems once every two weeks for landscape/lawn watering. In addition, lawns, trees, shrubs and foundations can be watered with a hand-held hose for up to two hours on any day of the week provided there is no excess run-off.
The monthly watering schedule will be released online at the end of each month for the upcoming month as lake levels, weather patterns and the related drought impact will be closely monitored and conditions might prompt further changes or the enactment of Stage 4 water restrictions.
