Effective April 1 - 30, Stage 3 Seasonal Watering Restrictions will be extended due to low lake levels and as we continue a 10% Reduction Goal for this stage. Customers may use sprinklers or irrigation systems once every two weeks for landscape/lawn watering. Customers must use the Stage 3 Outdoor Watering Schedule Map and the Watering Week Schedule Calendar to identify what day watering is permitted for their neighborhood. |
| Allen Voted "Best City" in Annual CHL Best of the Best Awards! |

 Every year, the Central Hockey League has its players, coaches and operational staff from each of its 17 clubs vote on the "Best of the Best". This year Allen came out on top as the Best City - which is no small feat considering some of the other cities in the running include Denver, CO; Independence, MO; and Tulsa, OK. Our own Allen Event Center ranked in the top three for several categories including Best Ice Surface, Best Arena Concessions and Best Locker Rooms. The Allen Americans were also tops in several categories such as Best Rookie, Alex Lavoie, Best Offensive Defenseman, Tyler Ludwig, and Best Dance Team, Ice Angles.

Portions of KidMania at Celebration Park Closed for Renovations

 The Parks and Recreation Staff are working hard to make sure summertime play at KidMania in Celebration Park is even more awesome than ever. Portions of the playground will be closed through April 25 for renovations. Several improvements such as new safety surfacing and a "wavy seat wall" are being installed.
