The Allen Public Library will spend the month of November looking back on the historic events of fifty years ago. Programs include reflections from retired U.S. Secret Service special agent Mike Howard who served under President John F. Kennedy; Winston Smith, the son of Hubert Winston Smith, attorney for Jack Ruby; and a symposium about the assassination with several eyewitness panelists. Each Tuesday evening in November there will be a different film tying back to the events of November 22, 1963. The Library's gallery features artifacts, photographs, newspapers and records about President Kennedy and the assassination. You can learn about all of these free programs and more at AllenLibrary.org.
