discover healthier you
Back this fall at the Allen Public Library is the Discover a Healthier You program. This monthly series focuses on topics led by expert practitioners and instructors to help you discover your inner healthier self.

Then on Nov. 14, the Library wants to help get you moving with "Zumba: Latin Inspired Fitness." All fitness levels are welcome at this fun, calorie burning dance fitness program.

Moving meditation is the focus on Dec. 12 with the T'ai Chi program. The Allen Chapter of the Lu T'ai Chi Players will help you explore how the practice of T'ai Chi promotes relaxation and stress reduction.

The programs are from Noon to 1 p.m. in the 2nd floor program room of the Allen Public Library, 300 N. Allen Drive. All programs are free and available to ages 18 and older. Advance online registration is requested or you can call 214.509.4913 for more information.
