Expansion to Begin Soon on Exchange Parkway
|
Exchange Parkway has long been planned as a six-lane divided roadway between SH121 and Angel Parkway. Most of it now is only four lanes. Allen City Council recently approved moving forward with the project to expand two segments - from Alma Drive to US 75 and Greenville Avenue to Allen Heights Drive. By constructing an additional lane in each direction, adjusting and adding turn lanes, and modifying the signals; traffic on this roadway will be improved. Construction is anticipated to begin sometime this fall.
