Allen's well-defined growth you see today has been a direct result of decades of input and strategic planning efforts by elected officials, residents, business owners, and city staff. By periodically updating the Comprehensive Plan which was originally adopted in 1985 and updated in 1995 and 2002, we can ensure continued successful development for our city.
