Market Street Allen USA Aims to Be Green
zero waste event
Even though Market Street Allen USA is billed as our biggest red, white and blue event of the year - it has also been getting greener over the years. Incorporating green aspects into this event means our actions result in a positive impact on the environment. From cardboard recycling for vendors to compostable serve ware to conveniently located trash receptacles, compost and recycling containers to provide one-stop waste management - together we are making it easy to make all of Market Street Allen USA a Zero Waste Zone!

And remember - Free shuttle service will be available from Allen High School to Celebration Park beginning at 3:30 p.m. Extra buses have been added this year to help attendees park in a hassle free location and enjoy an air conditioned ride to and from Market Street Allen USA.

There is one more chance to win the ultimate VIP Experience to Market Street Allen USA Celebration! Check out the last Summer Sounds concert this Monday and make sure to visit the Parks and Recreation booth for information on how to participate.

The recent RTC action provides a solution for the continuance of services through September 1 with costs funded by the Texas Department of Transportation. This provides time for long-term planning and to identify local costs for ongoing transportation services. Read More...
