| Chemical Reuse Center Open Saturday |

The Allen Chemical Reuse Center, located inside the Municipal Service Center, 900 S. Greenville Ave., is open from 9 to 11 a.m. this Saturday. The center will be open every third Saturday of each month form 9 to 11 a.m. and every Thursday from noon to 2 p.m.
The reuse center offers items such as paint, household cleaners, pool chemicals and garden products free to Allen residents. Items suitable for reuse have been collected through residential chemical collections. Chemicals may not be dropped off at the reuse center. | City Remains in Stage 2 Water Restrictions |

The City of Allen remains in Stage 2 water restrictions. Low lake levels for this time of the year prompted a recent advisory that, pending rainfall amounts through May, the summer months may result in the need for Stage 3 water restrictions. In Stage 3, once weekly watering is required.
The City of Allen will remain in Stage 2 unless North Texas Municipal Water District votes to enact Stage 3 water restrictions due to the status of the water supply.
