Everyone is invited to the Connemara Conservancy for the annual EarthFest on Saturday morning. You can participate in a clean-up with Keep Allen Beautiful that starts at 9 a.m. or bring your family out for a fun day outdoors celebrating a greener, healthier community beginning at 10 a.m.
The Allen Civic Ballet presents the Allen Dance Festival at the Allen Public Library Civic Auditorium Saturday evening at 7 p.m. and Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. Attendees will be dazzled with performances by Allen Civic Ballet, Dallas Black Dance Theatre II, Dancing Minds and Bodies, Fairbank Dance Theatre of San Antonio, and Premiere Ballet of Colorado. Tickets will be available at the door.
Tailgating Time to Support Your Allen Americans in their Playoff Hunt!
The Allen Americans are hosting a tailgate party outside Allen Event Center from 3 - 6 p.m. Saturday, prior to Game 5 vs Denver. They are inviting everyone to come join in the fun which includes street hockey, a concert by GoodNGone, bounce houses, and a cookout with burgers and hotdogs with special guest chefs Craig Ludwig and Ed Belfour - and more! There will also be open house from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. to pick out seats for the 2013-2014 season, as well as enjoy free popcorn and $1 sodas. It's Demo Day out at The Courses at Watters Creek
The Courses at Watters Creek will host Demo Day Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. Come out and enjoy the amazing new state-of-the-art practice facility and try out some of the best equipment in the world. The 6-hole Futures Course will be open for play where families can enjoy entertainment, clinics, contest giveaways and more!
