The Courses at Watters Creek
Saturday is opening day for The Traditions, the new 18-hole golf course at The Courses at Watters Creek! The championship layout of The Traditions Course will test players of all abilities as well as give everyone an exciting experience winding through the amazing scenic woodlands of red oak, cedar elm and pecan trees. The North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) to Conduct Chlorine Maintenance

The North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) has scheduled a free chlorine maintenance that will be conducted on the NTMWD Wylie water transmission system and customers' distribution systems for a 28 day period from January 14 to February 11.

The free chlorine maintenance does not affect water quality and remains safe for use.

Whether it's cold outside or not, the Allen Public Library Civic Auditorium will be bringing the heat when Salt Creek Bluegrass performs its foot stompin' music at 7:30 p.m. Friday, January 18. This high-energy bluegrass band adds subtle twists to standard bluegrass and contemporary tunes that is sure to get you moving and get your temperature rising.
