A Moderator Moment

One great idea shared by the Detroit Presbytery at our last Synod Assembly meeting in August was the creation of a Hands-On-Mission work group. This group created the mission idea of a Festival of Health. This festival was particularly focused on areas of the presbytery where homelessness and poverty were at high levels. Also present at this health fair was the Synod Mobile Health Team. Maybe next summer this idea can become a reality in other presbyteries in our synod. Combine a Health Fair with the Synod Mobile Heath Unit.

Your Moderator,

Russ Brandt
