Dear 2016 Big Sur Marathon Event Finisher,
Congratulations on your finish of a 2016 Big Sur Marathon event! In addition to our beautiful course, we hope the efforts of our 2,500+ hard-working volunteers and our race committee and staff (the "blue jackets" you saw throughout race weekend) provided you with a memorable experience.
Announcements and Information
~ Unofficial race results can be viewed HERE. We allow two weeks for results corrections. If you see any issues with your results, go to the results page and click on the "Submit a Result Correction" link (found in the upper right hand corner of the page).
~ If you won an age group award in the Marathon or 5K and did not attend the race-day awards ceremony, it will be mailed to you in about three weeks.
~ To view your Finisher Certificate, click on your name in the results. You may also be able to view your photo and possibly a video of you crossing the finish line!|

~ View your personal MarathonFoto Gallery pictures HERE. We will be posting our own 2016 Big Sur Marathon Photo Gallery in the next week or so. ~ We still have about 70 unclaimed gear bags in our office. If you did not claim your bag race day and would like to have your items returned, email chris@bsim.org. Any items unclaimed after Thursday, May 5 will be donated to charity. |
~ Our Post-Event Survey was e-mailed to you yesterday. We appreciate you taking a few
minutes to complete this questionnaire. It provides us important feedback on the impact of the event in our community and on your race experience. Many improvements and ideas each year come directly from survey comments and suggestions.

~ It's not too late to commemorate your race with a Marathon finisher shirt. We have a limited number still available. And, new this year, we have women's finisher shirts for the 21 and 10.6-Miler events in limited sizes! ~ Our online Official Race Results book will be at www.bsim.org in early June.
~ Many have already asked about how to enter one of our 2017 events. We will announce registration plans for all distances on our website and via social media by early June. Be sure and follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for updates.
