With the Mud Run only days away, we'd like to touch base one last time.  Below are some updates and information we'd like you to read.

STORIES NEEDED!  The Monterey Herald is looking to profile a "quirky" team or individual with a fun story in advance of the weekend's run.  If you're a Monterey County participant in the Mud Run (team or individual) and can send a couple of sentences or short paragraph describing your "story" please send it ASAP to julie@bsim.org.  Would need all submissions today if possible, but no later than noon on Wednesday, March 20.

Bibs were mailed last week between Monday, March 11 and Thursday, March 14.  If you registered Thursday or later, you'll need to pick up your individual or team bibs race morning at the bib pick-up tent near the start.  If you did not receive your individual or team bibs, we will issue replacements race morning.  And remember, we'll have pins at the start!

The predicted weather for Saturday is for sunshine with temperatures in the high 40's at the start and warming up to the high 50's.  This should allow for excellent running conditions.  We hope you'll stick around after the race if you are from out of town and do some sightseeing or enjoy lunch or an early dinner on the Monterey Peninsula.  (Be sure to pack $20 if you'd like a full shower on site with warm water, soap, and towel provided!)
