This May, Jody Sperling embarks on an Arctic voyage aboard the US Coast Guard Cutter
Healy. She'll be accompanying a scientific expedition as the vessel's first ever choreographer-
in-residence. Join us for two studio performances anticipating this adventure. Jody performs a new polar-themed solo and the company offers repertory works.

The event includes a discussion about climate change with invited guests Margie Turrin of Lamont-DohertyEarth Observatory/PoLAR Hub (Thursday), Jessica Brunacini of PoLAR Hub (Friday) and author Dallas Murphy (Friday).

Polar Vortex concludes with a champagne send-off party on Friday evening.
