Requests for project information and starter packets, mailed just a few weeks ago to participating congregations, can be made to Sarah Moore-Nokes, associate executive presbyter in Winnebago Presbytery, who is heading the initial project efforts. She can be reached at sarah@winnebagopresbytery.org. A project description is available at "Food."

Certificate in Environmental Leadership and Ministry

Original Artwork by Shawna BowmanThe timely certificate in Environmental Leadership and Ministry program will be offered again in 2013. This timely program provides clergy and lay leaders alike the opportunity to think deeply and broadly about the growing challenge of environmental ministry in their communities and work. Set in an urban environment and combining the contexts of science, biblical studies, theology and ethics while incorporating the language and practices of the church, participants will come away equipped to serve as a strong resource person and advocate in their own places of ministry.
