Fort Worth Prairie Park Second Sunday Hike
You may have heard that the land we are trying to preserve was recently sold by the General Land Office of Texas. (Front page of the Fort Worth Star Telegram, July 14) The fight is not over! We are still working toward saving any of this land possible. We just have a new land owner to work with.
In the meantime, we are having our August Second Sunday Hike this Sunday, the 11th at 7pm. Bring a lawn chair, water, and a snack if you would like. We will do a small walk around due to the heat, settle in to watch the sunset and possibly get a peek at the meteor shower that's happening. Meet at the gate at 7. Hope to see you on the prairie!
