TANDY HILLS PRAIRIEFEST: Join the Friends of the Fort Worth Prairie Park as we celebrate all things prairie with the Tandy Hills Prairiefest this Saturday April 27 from 11- sunset. See http://tandyhills.org/fest for more information. We would love to see you at the festival or even better you can come by and give some time at our booth to help spread the word about our mission. We are looking for committed passionate volunteers and friends. If you can't come by please spread the word about our project to friends on social media. STAR PARTY AT FORT WORTH PRAIRIE PARK: On May 4th Fort Worth Prairie Park, Tandy Hills Natural Area, and Bob Jones Nature Center are combining to have Star Parties. The event will be from 7:30-10pm. High powered telescopes will be at all locations with experts from TCU and the Fort Worth Astrological Society to point out celestial objects. We will also be taking measurements of the magnitude of stars to report to Globe at Night, a worldwide citizen science program. So grab your flashlight, a blanket, and/or chair and join us for a sunset hike and star gazing! For directions and more details on the event you can go to www.savetheprairie.org
