...to district migrant recruiter Amelia Lopez, who was named 2016 Oregon Migrant Employee of the Year. The award is given for outstanding dedication to Oregon's migrant students and their families.

...to Superintendent Yvonne Curtis, who was honored with a Mentor Award from the Oregon Association of Latino Administrators at their 2016 conference. The award recognizes individuals for their commitment to mentoring and growing Latino school administrators.
Still Time To Get 50% Off At Adidas Employee Store
The adidas Employee Store is offering FGSD employees 50% off retail price between Feb. 3-16.  You no longer have to present a special pass to gain admittance. Employees just need to show their FGSD photo badge for entry. You can bring up to four people with you. The employee store is located at 5060 North Greeley Avenue in Portland. Hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
