Remember To Get Your Flu Shot!
|
 Say no to the flu, and get a flu shot at the district office Flu Shot Clinic on Tuesday, Oct. 20. The clinic is open to employees and family members who are age 11 or older. All immunizations are 100% covered for those with the following insurance plans: ODS Health Plan, Providence Health Plan and Regence Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Please bring your insurance card for billing. Other immunizations (Pneumonia, Prevnar 13, T-Dap, Gardasil) are available, but you must call the pharmacist at 503-324-5780 to schedule.

Know Potential Substitute Teachers? Send Them To The Job Fair Oct. 27 at the ESD in Hillsboro |
 Did you know that if you hold a bachelor's degree, you are eligible to pursue becoming a substitute teacher? CTA Substitute Services and the Northwest Regional ESD are recruiting people who hold a bachelor's degree to become Restricted Licensed substitute teachers. There will be a Job Fair on Tuesday, Oct. 27 from 2-6 p.m. at the ESD, 5825 NE Ray Circle, Hillsboro. Requirements for a Restricted Substitute license are: Bachelor's degree or higher, passing score on ORELA Civil Rights Exam, Fingerprinting and criminal history background verification with Oregon Department of Education, Sponsorship by the ESD or school district, Restricted license issued by Teachers Standards & Practices, and 8-hour Substitute Readiness course. - TONIGHT! - ReVoiced, an a cappella quintet, will perform tonight at Forest Grove High School as a fundraiser for the choir program. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for students. ReVoiced travels throughout the country, performing concerts in the evening and working during the day with school choirs.
- Tickets go on sale Oct. 26 for Christmas With the Trail Band, the annual holiday concert sponsored by the Education Foundation of Forest Grove. The concert will be held on Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. at Forest Grove High School. Stay tuned for more information
- Fern Hill Chess Club - Fern Hill's Chess Club begins Oct. 29 and meets every Thursday after school from 3:30-5 p.m. It is open to students from throughout the district in grades K-8, first come, first served. Limit is 22 students. For more information, call Virgil Ruiz at 503-359-2550 X7035.

If you downloaded our previous mobile app, you should update it to see the new version.
