From The Director

Greetings!

Spring is in the air at Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia!

All around our region, the spring season means the building season. At Habitat NoVa, we kick off a number of home repair projects in April, and have volunteers scheduled from alumni groups to corporate sponsors.  It is not too late to get involved this spring, please visit our website for more information on becoming a volunteer.

Planning also continues for the new home on Douglass Avenue in Falls Church.  We recently met with neighbors, and answered questions about how construction will be managed in the neighborhood. Thank you to all the neighbors for their support and enthusiasm, and Fairfax County Supervisor Linda Smyth for attending the event.

Wishing you a joyful Spring!

Rev. Jon Smoot, PhD.
