Locked inside your own blood platelets are powerful growth factors and other proteins. From a small sample of your blood, platelets can be separated and concentrated into PRP or Platelet Rich Plasma. PRP may be combined with other sophisticated tissue-regenerating technology, like ACell--a powder which has helped finger amputees regenerate their fingertips and fingernails. The PRP+ACell mixture can then be used
to treat an area of alopecia or weak hair growth on the scalp.
