Greetings! T he more I travel and speak with people, the more I come to realize that "growing old gracefully" is simply not a popular option... especially when it comes to our mind, body, skin or our hair. "Anti-aging" is the buzzword that is on the tip of everyone's tongue. And although our genetics play a strong role in how our bodies age, with the right guidance, treatments and technology we can truly defy the aging process and this could not be more true when it comes to protecting and restoring our hair. Recently, I had the chance to attend the 7th Annual World Congress for Hair Research in Edinburgh, Scotland as a member of the North American Hair Research Society. Researchers working on exciting advanced treatments involving hair transplants, hair multiplication, hair follicle neogenesis, stem cells and other future therapies presented their research. It was exciting to see this cutting edge research and to bring this information back to help our patients in Boca Raton, FL. In addition, as a part of the esteemed Pantene Hair Research Institute, I participated in a day-long educational event which was held for the international news media.
