A terrific cast gilt bronze  RARE  antique cast bronze figure of AVALOKITESVARA / Guanyin - Ming dynasty.  Buddha portrayed seated lalitasana in her multi - armed , multi - eyed manifestation  with 16 of her 18  arms splayed to her sides. Each hold  a different implement  while two hands are held in front of her in the abiseka mudra of anointing .  The full face  with third "dharma eye" to midforehead  surmounted by large elaborate diadem surrounding a depiction of the  Amitabha Buddha.  Size: 6" high, 5 3/4" wide across the arms.
