Thank you to the many people who participated in, and otherwise contributed to, our National Forum on Police Crimes the weekend of May 16-17, at the International House of the University of Chicago. We are looking forward to this being the harbinger of more forums and united actions against police crimes.
Please take a few moments to read the summary report: Stopping Police Crimes: A National Epidemic Requires a Coordinated National Effort
You can follow the links in that report to learn about the important work done by the breakout groups at the Forum (or just click on the links below). The page describing each breakout includes a way for you to sign up to get involved with that specific work.
One thing came through loud and clear when we met in Chicago: People perceive a national problem that demands a unified response. I look forward to working with you on building this national effort. We've got a lot of work ahead . . . but we've made a great start.
Yours in struggle,
Frank Chapman
