Paradox wins 25k
from the The North Face Explore Fund!
After weeks of daily voting by the Paradox Sports troops, we successfully took 4th place in The North Face Explore Fund contest, winning $25,000 to spread our Adaptive Climbing Curriculum all over the nation! Our goal is to get 5-10 clubs started this year with local partners, starting in Salt Lake City, Seattle, and Bozeman. If you live in these places or know of organizations that work in these cities and might be able to help, please contact us at madeline@paradoxsports.org!

We had lots of help getting this grant - thanks go out to our family and friends, professional athletes that spread the word, companies that shared about voting, and participants/supporters who went above and beyond to rally their friends to vote. Thank you!
Upcoming Events
Grand Teton Adaptive Trip
August 3rd - 6th

Partnering with  Exum Mountain Guides, Paradox Sports will send up to 10 adaptive participants to climb the classic Grand Teton in Wyoming! The 7-mile, 5,000-foot approach to the Exum Hut, on the saddle between the Middle and Grand Teton, climbs steeply through hillsides blanketed in wildflowers and past gorgeous waterfalls. This is an epic climb and unforgettable experience. We have a couple of registration spots left! Please spread the word to help us fill the trip. Thanks!

Outdoor Retailer Recap

Outdoor Retailer, the semi-annual outdoor industry tradeshow, is a time of storytelling and partnership growth for Paradox Sports. We met with friends all over the industry and ran two happy hours at the Native Eyewear booth (all $1530 of donations for beer went to Paradox!). Outdoor Research even sold awesome hats to benefit Paradox. We worked hard but enjoyed making connections and being part of all the amazing innovations that are happening in the industry.

Only 6 months until OR Winter Market!

Doug Sandok Joins Paradox as Executive Director

After two years of working tirelessly to grow the vision and scope of Paradox Sports, Timmy O'Neill is making the move to the Board of Directors so he can focus on the overall mission of Paradox and spend more time adventuring as an athlete. Filling his shoes is Doug Sandok, who comes to us from the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center. Doug not only has extensive guiding and expedition experience, but has proven himself as an adaptive sports program director at BOEC. You can read more about Doug on our staff page, but expect to hear more from him soon as he officially joins the team next week.
