The July/August employee spotlight is on Doug Frederick.
Doug joined the N-Jet team in November 1999 as a mechanic at our Lake in the Hills facility. In 2006, he was promoted to Quality Control Manager for the Chicago Executive Service Center.
Before coming to N-Jet, Doug spent four years in the U.S. Air Force as an F-16 Aircraft Mechanic. He then went on to earn a B.S. in Aviation Management at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale.
Doug's military background shines through in his leadership, professionalism and reliability. As Quality Control Manager, he holds a central role within our company. By ensuring that all methods and procedures are followed and kept consistent, Doug protects and enriches N-Jet's standards of safety and sets an example for his staff and colleagues.

Last month, we officially ended our FBO operation, Northern Illinois Flight Center (NIFC) in Lake in the Hills. Closing these doors wasn't easy; we've been a part of the Lake in the Hills Airport and community since the early 1980's.
But change can be a good thing.
In fact, this strategic shift is a result of N-Jet's success at Chicago Executive. It positions us to be better aligned with the upward momentum in Aircraft Management, Maintenance and Charter.
