We want to wish all N-Jet employees a Happy New Year and a Happy Valentine's Day!

As this "combined" greeting implies, the Monthly Dispatch is now going to be sent on a bi-monthly basis. This will enable us to include more content and quality in each issue.

Lobby We can all agree that January was a hectic time with the move into the new facility.

We'd like to thank everyone for their cooperation, effort, and continued patience as we settle into our new "home" and adjust to the bigger space and more populated environment!

North America Charter Demand Rises from Year Ago

New data from online charter portal Avinode provides a clearer impression of the existing fluctuations in charter aircraft demand and pricing.

The latest forward-looking demand indices show a substantial dip in anticipated bookings for the next 30 days across all three categories of aircraft evaluated: light, midsize and large-cabin business jets.

However, the demand indices for all aircraft types were significantly up on February 6 versus a year ago. Meanwhile, Avinode's pricing indices for the same aircraft, over the same period in the same markets, showed only marginal fluctuations

Did You Know?

On January 1, 1914, the world's first scheduled airplane passenger service operated by an airline company - the Airboat Line - begins at 10:00 A.M. when Anthony Janus flies his first passenger from St. Petersburg to Tampa, Florida. The fare for 22-mile over-water flight was $5 with a surcharge if the passenger weighs more than 200 lbs.
