FAA Selects N-Jet for ASAP Program

FAA Logo N-Jet is one of only two charter operators in the Great Lakes Region to be selected to participate in the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA)  Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP).

The ASAP program was initiated by the FAA and the Air Charter Safety Foundation (ACSF) to encourage a culture of safety and development of safety reporting and monitoring systems.  An ASAP is a reporting program that enables repair station certificate holders and employees of participating air carriers to identify and report safety issues to management and the FAA without fear that the reports will be used against them legally by the FAA, or for disciplinary action by employers.

According to Howard Seedorf, N-Jet President, the ASAP program is an invaluable safety tool for charter operators.  "The ASAP program will allow us to discover and resolve any safety issues before they can turn into a bigger, unfortunate event.  Implementation of this program is really going to raise the bar in safety for on-demand charter operators, and we are honored to pave the way for future ASAP participants."

N-Jet, who currently holds the highest safety ratings from IS-BAO and ARG/US International, is one of two operators in the Great Lake Region selected to take part in this demonstration program for on-demand charter operators.  The program will eventually expand into other FAA regions, with the goal of encouraging charter operators to establish their own ASAP programs to enhance safety measures and precautions.
