The Monthly Dispatch
Greetings!
Welcome to the first edition of The Monthly Dispatch, an online newsletter created just for you. It's important that you're "in the know" of all the exciting changes and successes here at N-Jet. Each month, we'll provide information such as new aircraft updates, the status of the new Wheeling facility, and fun company facts. We'll also welcome new staff members and recognize employees. If you have any suggestions on topics that could make the Monthly Dispatch even better, please email Erika Walker.

New Employees
Please join us in welcoming the following new staff members to the N-Jet team:
Jeff Doland and Nathan Carter - Jeff and Nathan joined N-Jet as the new pilots for the N902AU, the new Astra based out of Indianapolis.
Pete DuBois - Pete joined N-Jet last year as Vice President of Sales, and is responsible for driving new business in both charter and aircraft management. Pete's aviation experience began in 1982 as a line service technician. A year later, Pete accepted a position in Van Nuys, CA with Bell Helicopter in their customer service and support division. When the Bell facility closed ten years later, Pete became general manager of a large shop at Van Nuys airport. In 2003, he accepted the position of Director of avionics sales at Bizjet in Tulsa, OK. Such a move was significant because Pete and his family had spent their entire life in Southern California, and were true "beach bums".
"Tulsa seemed like about as far from the beach as one could get in the United States" said DuBois regarding the prospect of such a move. Pete remains in Tulsa while fulfilling his new role at N-Jet.
Brett Hansen - Brett recently joined the team as the new co-pilot for the 900MK.
Kyle Ramos - Kyle just joined N-Jet as a new line service technician.
Erika Walker - Erika joined the team in March as a part-time marketing manager. She is currently assisting Pete with initiatives such as this newsletter, advertising, press releases, Private Air Reserve, and increasing N-Jet's online exposure. Erika has over ten years of corporate sales and marketing experience, and recently earned her MBA at Illinois State University, where she also worked for their Media Relations department as a Public Information Specialist.

New Aircraft
Last month, we added a new Astra G100 to our managed fleet. Centrally located in Indianapolis IN, the aircraft is ideal for charter clients wishing to reach the east or west coast with a fuel stop (in most cases). The Astra is also economical and has a spacious cabin.
N-Jet mananges the aircraft, which is owned by Eagle Air.
"The Astra is complementary to the NJET fleet as we have managed and maintained this cabin of aircraft for many years" said Chad Seedorf, N-Jet Chief Pilot.

Facility Update
At the first of the year, N-Jet will be making a very exciting move to a new facility in Wheeling. Many of you may be wondering, "why are we doing this"?
The new facility will be larger, more modern, and will be a major image shift for N-Jet. We'll be able to improve efficiencies by having operations, maintenenance, and aircraft management all under one roof. The larger size will also allow us to expand our maintenance business while attracting larger and newer managed aircraft, and we'll have a significantly less- crowded ramp area.
Location, location, location - we'll be closer to our key Chicago Executive customer, CTCA, who will be located just across the ramp, and we'll also be right around the corner from major corporate operators such as Allstate, Crowne Ind., and Cook Foods (to name a few).
Please remember that the schedule of the move is subject to change, but the current plan is for maintenance to make the first move from Hangar 8 to Hangar 15, followed by some corporate and operations from 3CK. Few changes will occur at Lake in the Hills, with the exception of some corporate and operations employees. We'll continue to provide updates each month on this exciting new venture!

Did You Know?
If the Earth were shrunk to the size of a typical desktop globe, an airplane flying at 35,000 feet would be cruising at only 1/10 of an inch (2.5 mm) off the surface.
