Lakeview Pantry
February 2014

Lakeview Pantry
Dear Friend,

February is a month of love, compassion, and hope.

As you find yourself expressing love to those close to you, now is a great time to ask yourself, what do you love about your community? What do you love about Chicago, Lakeview, and your neighbors?

In this video we asked four fantastic volunteers what they love about Lakeview Pantry. Watch the touching responses from Anne, Sarah, Luis, and Shungu.

What do you love about Lakeview Pantry?
You can join the Lakeview family of volunteers by pledging your time to your community today. Contact Director of Volunteers Erin Stephens at [email protected]. Thank you and Happy Valentine's Day,

Take A Look Behind The Scenes: Lakeview Pantry's Video Team

Do you ever wonder how we shoot Lakeview Pantry videos? Adding video to our regular communications has been a very exciting process for the Lakeview Pantry team, and we owe it to who have made it all possible, the team at Tony Armour Photography. This photo shows Lisa Adamson and Tony Armour of Tony Armour Photography capturing Gary Garland, our Executive Director.

At Tony Armour Photography, they tell stories through photography. They believe that "the use of motion and space in photography have played an important role in capturing these stories, by illustrating life and all of its elements." The Tony Armour team could not do a more fantastic job at capturing the life of the pantry, and for that we say thank you. To learn more about their incredible work, read more at their website.

February is National Canned Food Month

February is not only the month of love, it is also a month dedicated to the appreciation of canned foods. Show your community some love and compassion by starting your own canned food drive with Lakeview Pantry.

Those aren't cans shown in this picture, they are full-sized 30 gallon barrels ready to be filled by you!
