Celebrate Summer with Lakeview Pantry!

What's in season this summer? Along with apricots, berries, and watermelon, summer is the season for celebration.

We have much to be thankful for here at the Pantry and we would like to celebrate that this month by spotlighting a few types of community involvement and by asking you to join in on the fun.

In this newsletter you will be invited to join us in Hunger Walk festivities, read about the wedding celebration of two of our volunteers, see a fun recent donation, and celebrate summer with our newest campaign, "Keep The Barrel Full: Virtual Food Drive."

May the season see you well!

Sincerely,

Gary Garland
Executive Director

Virtual Food Drive Update

If you read our announcement email last Friday, you know that today, Monday 6/17 is day 4 of our 10 day virtual food drive for our Keep The Barrel Full campaign!

As you can see, we are not quite there yet. Help us meet our goal of raising enough funds for 300,000 lbs of food by donating here.

All donations will be matched 100% up to $10,000! Help us Keep The Barrel Full.

Community Involvement Update: Tree House Humane Society

We recently received a huge donation of pet food from Tree House Humane Society. They donated over 20 bags of varying sizes of dry dog food and dog treats which are all natural and/or organic. We do worry about food insecurity of pets of our clients, so this is a very important donation.

We are very grateful for this donation and we celebrate our future partnership!
