On April 7th, the North Shore TMA supported MassPIRG and North Shore Community College in their effort to promote the need for more transit options to the Hathorne area of Danvers, which is home to a growing number of diverse businesses, institutions, and residential developments. Hathorne is accessible to Route 1, I-95 and Route 62 but currently, the only way to access it is via car.

Andrea Leary, Executive Director of the North Shore TMA noted that the TMA will work with the North Shore Community College to conduct focus groups and surveys during April to get a better understanding of commuting patterns.
