Laudato Si' Resources

"The entire material universe speaks of God's love, his boundless affection for us." -Pope Francis, Laudato Si'

June 18th marks the first anniversary of the publication of Pope Francis' encyclical on the care of our common home, Laudato Si'. How have our Christian lives been impacted by this powerful document in the past year?

In Laudato Si', Pope Francis expresses his desire to "enter into dialogue with all people about our common home" (3).  He celebrates creation as God's gift to man, whom He calls to "till and keep the garden of the world," evaluates the current condition of our environment, and calls us to action (67). We invite you to spend some time this month with Laudato Si'.

Feast Day: June 19th

Join the Catholic Apostolate Center in commemorating the Feast Day of St. Romuald!

Romuald spent 30 years going about Italy, founding monasteries and hermitages. The most famous of the monasteries he founded was that of the Camaldoli in Tuscany. Here he founded the Order of the Camaldolese Benedictines, uniting a monastic and hermit life.

St. Romuald, pray for us!
