The Catholic Apostolate Center is pleased to present its newly released E-book, Ad Infinitum: Reflections from the Bloggers of the Catholic Apostolate Center. A project many years in the making, this E-book is a selection from the hundreds of posts that have appeared on the Catholic Apostolate Center's Ad Infinitum blog since its inception.

The E-book is divided into five sections, each group offering a different perspective on the faith. Why Go To Church:
Understanding the Importance of the Mass
By Steve Hemler, author of
The Reality of God: The Layman's Guide to Scientific Evidence for the Creator
Sunday, April 26th, 7:00pm

Many people consider themselves to be "spiritual" but not "religious." Some people will say that they believe in God, yet see no reason to regularly attend Mass. This webinar helps us respond to this growing trend by exploring key reasons why active involvement in the life of the Church, especially the Mass, is Christ's will for his followers. This webinar will unravel the importance and historical traditions of the celebration of the Mass and provide valuable information for sharing with family and friends who do not regularly attend Mass.

Family Life as Witness to the Gospel
Webinar Series
Families experience many different challenges and opportunities to be witnesses to the Gospel. In moments of Joy and hardship, some of the greatest opportunities to grow in faith are available. This periodic webinar series, in preparation for the World Meeting of Families in September, looks at aspects and events of family life and how they can be moments for pastoral leaders to evangelize and witness to the Gospel.

How God Provides Us Direction
by Dana Edwards
Digital Strategist and volunteer at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Tallahassee, Florida

Like most high school students, I had a yearly summer reading list to complete before the start of the next school term. One summer, I was required to read "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" by Mitch Albom. Reading this book was a "light bulb" moment for me. One line from the book stuck with me: "There are five people you meet in heaven. Each of us was in your life for a reason. You may not have known the reason at the time, and that is what heaven is for."

After reading that line, I knew there had been individuals placed in my life for reasons I came to realize after reflection, as well as reasons yet to be revealed.
