Wishing You and Your Family a Blessed Christmas and a
Joyous New Year!

As this year of 2013 comes to a close, we are very appreciative of all of you who have supported the efforts of our ministry. Whether you are new to our contact list or have been with us from the beginning, you are all members of our extended Catholic Apostolate Center family.

We look forward to continuing to serve you throughout 2014 by bringing together the best resources on catechesis, prayer, collaboration in ministry, the new evangelization, Catholic social teaching and more! As always, we invite your suggestions and comments on these various resources.

Please know that you and your loved ones will be remembered in our prayers and masses celebrated on Christmas Day by the Pallottines of the Immaculate Conception Province.

From our entire staff to you - Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Peace in Christ,

Solemnity of the
Nativity of the Lord

The angel said to them,
"Do not be afraid;
for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.
For today in the city of David
a savior has been born for you who is Christ and Lord.
And this will be a sign for you:
you will find an infant wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger." And suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel,
praising God and saying:
"Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests."

Remembering Christ this Christmas
By Fr. Frank Donio, S.A.C.
Director of the Catholic Apostolate Center

Tomorrow, we arrive at Christmas Eve. In the rush of all the "things we must do" do we stop and reflect on the one who is the true must for us, the Incarnate Son of God, Our Lord Jesus Christ? Stop for a moment and look at a Nativity scene. I mean really look. What do you see? Do you see simply art, or a depiction of a past event, or do you see the one who is the Incarnate Son of God? Our God, who created us, came to us, is with us, is for us, to save us! We are not alone in the vast universe, left adrift. No, our God came to us in a way that we would not expect of one who is all-powerful, he came in the innocent helplessness of a baby.
New Webinar!
Being the Light of Faith - Lumen Fidei and the New Evangelization

Friday, January 24 @ 2pm

Pope Francis' first encyclical is a shining example of the New Evangelization in action. It re-proposes what is means to be Catholic today and how Catholics are to be in the world - as witness, as leaven, and as servant. Led by Donald R. McCrabb, D.Min. Senior Vice President, Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities, this webinar will explore the basic themes of Lumen Fidei and what that means for young adults in the Church today.

A Christmas Greeting

Chairman of the Catholic Apostolate Center Board of Directors, Provincial Rector of the Immaculate Conception Province of the Pallottine priests and brothers, and Novena Director of St. Jude Shrine in Baltimore, Maryland, Fr. Peter Sticco, S.A.C. sends his Christmas greetings to all of you. Without the support of St. Jude Shrine, conducted by the Pallottine priests and brothers, our ministry here at the Catholic Apostolate Center would not be possible. We offer a heartfelt thanks to the Shrine's many benefactors who help us achieve excellence in our ministry and provide faith formation resources to a global audience.
