Greetings!

Beginning on October 11, 2012 we entered into a special time in the life of the Church, a year dedicated by Pope Benedict XVI as a "Year of Faith" that is to last until the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe in November of this year. Little did we know a few short months ago, what an eventful time this year would prove to be! Not only has this been an opportunity for us to revisit the foundations of our faith but, much to our surprise, it has also been a time for us to visibly witness this faith we profess, handed down from one sucessor of St. Peter to another.

Pope Francis has indicated a strong desire to continue the established Year of Faith, saying soon after his election:

"With this initiative, which I wish to continue and which I hope serves as a stimulus for each of us in our journey of faith, [Pope Benedict XVI] wanted to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Second Vatican Council, proposing a type of pilgrimage to what is essential for every Christian: a personal and transforming relationship with Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who died and rose again for our salvation."

Now that we find ourselves at the half-way point in this Year of Faith, we might be left asking "What else can I be doing to more fully live this Year of Faith?"

We invite you to join us on either Monday, April 15th at 9pm EST or Thursday, April 18th at 2pm EST for a special webinar with Director of the Catholic Apostolate Center, Fr. Frank Donio, S.A.C. entitled "Maintaining Momentum in the Year of Faith". This interactive webinar is completely virtual and can be enjoyed from the comfort of your very own personal computer! Only lasting about 45 minutes, it makes for a quick break away from other work. Click here to sign up via our website!

We sincerely hope that you are able to join us as we use this Year of Faith to delve more deeply into this faith we profess!

In God, the Infinite Love,

When our new Holy Father was announced to the world from the loggia of St. Peter's Basilica on March 13, many of us had a singular question come to mind, "Who is this Cardinal Jorge Mario Borgoglio (now Pope Francis)?" If this applies to you, we invite you to visit our Pope Francis Portal on our website! Here you can find a collection of news articles, statements from religious leaders, and texts of our Holy Father's first homilies as Successor of St. Peter, all of which are aimed toward helping us gain a better understanding of our new pope.

 Wisdom from the Saints

He who knows how to forgive prepares for himself many graces from God. As often as I look upon the cross, so often will I forgive with all my heart.
