| DR Dinner & Auction Tonight! |

Thank you! We've sold 94 tickets for tonight's DR dinner and auction to support our mission team and school scholarships in El Pedregal, more than in any other year! Since this a catered event, no tickets will be sold at the door. The activities start at 6:00 p.m. at the Cotton Corner, an elegant event space located at 101 N. Ashley Street in downtown Valdosta. Speakers include our Senior Warden, Bill Querin, and our Rector, Fr. Dave Johnson, both of whom are veteran DR missioners. Our auctioneer is the one-and-only Duke Guthrie from the VSU Theatre & Dance program. Come prepared for a Covington's catered Dominican-style dinner and to participate in the live and silent auctions -- or just leave a donation in the basket! The bar (donations gratefully accepted) will feature wine and Dominican beer - Presidente brand, straight from Santo Domingo and it's good....

Prayers for Search Committee

We have formed a search committee to assist Fr. Dave in the search for an Assistant to the Rector. Molly Stevenson is the chair of this committee and other members include Bill Querin, Sheri Gravett, Jeff Worn, Grace Tanner, and Steph Johnson. Honey Creek has graciously extended our deadline to Tuesday, April 12th. You do not have to attend the entire weekend, you could just come for the day on Saturday if that works for you. If you would like to go to the parish retreat, please contact the church office.
The Parish Retreat has been planned for Friday, April 22 - Sunday, April 24, 2016. The Retreat will be held at Honey Creek.
- Lodge rooms are $178 for weekend,

Ladies Night Out will be held on Thursday, April 14th beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the home of Millie Johnson. Millie's address is: 4534 Ivey Chase in Stone Creek. All ladies are invited to attend. Beverages will be provided. Bring a snack to share. If you would like to host a ladies night out, there is a signup sheet in the Parish Hall.

Ladies Wednesday Night Bible Study

The Wednesday night ladies bible study will continue a study of the book of Hebrews on Wednesday, April 13, 2016. For more information, email Tammy Borders or call 229-560-5889.

Lunch Bunch will be on Saturday, April 16th.
The Christ Church Valdosta Lunch Bunch feeds 120 or more hungry children every first and third Saturday of the month. Workers from the church as well as other members of the community who volunteer gather at 11 a.m. at Christ Church to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. They pack them in plastic bags, then brown paper bags with logo stickers together with chips, fruit, juice and other healthy goodies purchased from the Second Harvest Food Bank.
Please join us, on any 1st or 3rd Saturday.

Join the Christ Church Relay for Life Team to help support the American Cancer Society. Relay for Life will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016 at Lowndes High School beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Luminaries are being sold. Donations to support Christ Church team are being accepted.
Donations can be made on April 10th at Christ Church during Coffee Hour, or you can donate online.
