Ladies Night Out will be held on Thursday, April 14th beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the home of Millie Johnson. Millie's address is: 4534 Ivey Chase in Stone Creek. All ladies are invited to attend. Beverages will be provided. Bring a snack to share. If you would like to host a ladies night out, there is a signup sheet in the Parish Hall.

Second Annual Parish Retreat

A Parish Retreat has been planned for Friday, April 22 - Sunday, April 24, 2016. The Retreat will be held at Honey Creek.
- Lodge rooms are $178 for weekend,
- Meal plan is $63 per person (8 and over) for 3 meals on Saturday and 2 meals on Sunday.
Please contact the church office if you would like to make a reservation. Checks need to be sent to the church office not Honey Creek (please denote for Parish Retreat).
Deadline to register is April 1st. |

It's the Last Minute - Buy your tickets for the Friday, April 8, Dominican Republic Dinner and Auction from Julia Ariail and Helen Tucker at church Sunday. We have to turn in the final number on Monday morning. The cost is $25 each.The event will be catered by Covingtons and held at the Cotton Corner at 101 N. Ashley Street from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
All the proceeds from the auction will be used to pay for scholarships at the Episcopal school in El Pedregal and for supplies for our mission projects: screening the open air dining hall, installing fans in the school and painting the swing set. The cost of a scholarship for a complete academic year for one child is $350.

Lunch Bunch will be on Saturday, April 2nd.
The Christ Church Valdosta Lunch Bunch feeds 120 or more hungry children every first and third Saturday of the month. Workers from the church as well as other members of the community who volunteer gather at 11 a.m. at Christ Church to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. They pack them in plastic bags, then brown paper bags with logo stickers together with chips, fruit, juice and other healthy goodies purchased from the Second Harvest Food Bank.
Please join us, on any 1st or 3rd Saturday.

The Stitchers of Love will meet Sunday in the parish hall from 4 to 6 pm. Bring your favorite project or come to learn to knit or crochet one of our easy outreach projects: prayer shawls, baby blankets, little caps and big warm hats and scarves. And come learn about Twiddlemuffs and Knitted Knockers. For information, contact Pepi Nelson or Phyllis Holland.

Join the Christ Church Relay for Life Team to help support the American Cancer Society. Relay for Life will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016 at Lowndes High School beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Luminaries are being sold. Donations to support Christ Church team are being accepted.
Donations can be made on April 10th at Christ Church during Coffee Hour, or you can donate online.
