Second Annual Parish Retreat

A Parish Retreat has been planned for Friday, April 22 - Sunday, April 24, 2016. The Retreat will be held at Honey Creek.
- Lodge rooms are $178 for weekend,
- Meal plan is $63 per person (8 and over) for 3 meals on Saturday and 2 meals on Sunday.
Please contact the church office if you would like to make a reservation. Checks need to be sent to the church office not Honey Creek (please denote for Parish Retreat).
Deadline to register is April 1st. |

Watch for important information in next Friday's bulletin on the auction items to be sold at the Dominican Dinner and Auction. Buy your tickets by Sunday, April 3, so that we can notify the caterer about the number. Tickets are available from Julia Ariail, Helen Tucker, Jeani Synyard and from Kim Dudley in the church office. We have sold approximately 70 of the 104 available tickets. If tickets remain, they will be sold at coffee hour on Sunday, April 3.

Christ Church Ladies are planning a cruise for October 15 - 20, 2016 to Grand Cayman and Cozumel. If you are planning to take part, the first deposit of $50 for the cruise is due Tuesday, March 29th. You can still join in after that date, but the prices are subject to change. For more information check out the website, or to book a cabin, please call Debi Saeger.

Memorial Garden Renovation

Thank you, thank you to all who have generously given to the Memorial Garden Renovation project. We have reached our goal of designated gifts of $25,000. If you would still like to contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of the renovated garden, you may do so. Checks can be made out to "Christ Episcopal Church" and write "Memorial Garden" on the memo line.

Lunch Bunch will be on Saturday, April 2nd.
The Christ Church Valdosta Lunch Bunch feeds 120 or more hungry children every first and third Saturday of the month. Workers from the church as well as other members of the community who volunteer gather at 11 a.m. at Christ Church to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. They pack them in plastic bags, then brown paper bags with logo stickers together with chips, fruit, juice and other healthy goodies purchased from the Second Harvest Food Bank.
Please join us, on any 1st or 3rd Saturday.
