Wednesday Evening Lenten Dinner Series "Grace and the Ten Commandments" will run February 17 through March 16, 6:30-7:45. Covering two commandments per week we'll explore how the Gospel intersects with the Ten Commandments and how that applies to our daily lives.

Memorial Garden Committee

Memorial Garden Committee will be presenting the plans for the Memorial Garden renovation after the 10:00 service on February 21, 2016. This will take the place of Adult Sunday School for the day.

A Cursillo weekend will be held at Honey Creek February 25-28. Several of our own church members will be participating. Cursillo's mission is equipping Christians for leadership and service to change the world for Christ. Won't you prayerfully consider joining us? For details contact Elise Sandbach.

Second Annual Women's Retreat

Mark your calendars for March 11-12, 2016 there will be a Women's Retreat Weekend held at Christ Church.
- Friday, March 11, 2016 from 6-9 p.m. Snacks and Fun
- Saturday, March 12, 2016 beginning at 9 a.m. with light breakfast and coffee. We will have lunch and end with Eucharist at 3 p.m.
What to help lend a hand, contact one of these ladies who have volunteered to organize.

Children's Choir for Easter

Kindergarten through 5th graders
|
Karen May will take all interested K-5th graders for the first 15 minutes of Sunday School during lent (beginning February 14) and teach them two classic children's Easter songs. Then, during the 10:00 Easter service, the children will perform these songs for the congregation! We would love to see your child there!! For more information, contact Stefani Carroll.

Lunch Bunch is will be on Saturday, February 6th.
The Christ Church Valdosta Lunch Bunch feeds 120 or more hungry children every first and third Saturday of the month. Workers from the church as well as other members of the community who volunteer gather at 11 a.m. at Christ Church to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. They pack them in plastic bags, then brown paper bags with logo stickers together with chips, fruit, juice and other healthy goodies purchased from the Second Harvest Food Bank.
Please join us, on any 1st or 3rd Saturday.

The Stitchers of Love will meet Sunday, February 21st in the parish hall from 4 to 6 pm. Bring your favorite project or come to learn to knit or crochet one of our easy outreach projects: prayer shawls, baby blankets, little caps and big warm hats and scarves. A Parish Retreat has been planned for Friday, April 22 - Sunday, April 24, 2016. The Retreat will be held at Honey Creek.
- Lodge rooms are $178 for weekend,
- Meal plan is $63 per person (8 and over) for 3 meals on Saturday and 2 meals on Sunday.
