Bishop Benhase will be at Christ Church on Sunday, January 10, 2016.
There will only be one service at 10:00 a.m. on January 10th.
A reception will immediately follow the 10:00 service. Sunday School activities will be suspended for the day. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend. |

Mark your calendars for February 12-13, 2016 there will be a Women's Retreat Weekend held at Christ Church.
- Friday, February 12, 2016 from 6-9 p.m. Snacks and Fun
- Saturday, February 13, 2016 beginning at 9 a.m. with light breakfast and coffee. We will have lunch and end with Eucharist at 2 p.m.

Wednesday Evening Lenten Dinner Series

Wednesday Evening Lenten Dinner Series "Grace and the Ten Commandments" will run February 17 through March 16, 6:30-7:45. Covering two commandments per week we'll explore how the Gospel intersects with the Ten Commandments and how that applies to our daily lives.

A Cursillo weekend will be held at Honey Creek February 25-28. Several of our own church members will be participating. Cursillo's mission is equipping Christians for leadership and service to change the world for Christ. Won't you prayerfully consider joining us? For details contact Elise Sandbach.

Second Annual Parish Retreat

A Parish Retreat has been planned for Friday, April 22 - Sunday, April 24, 2016. The Retreat will be held at Honey Creek.
- Lodge rooms are $178 for weekend,
- Meal plan is $63 per person (8 and over) for 3 meals on Saturday and 2 meals on Sunday.

Have you always wanted to try a yoga class? (But can't touch your toes...not flexible enough??) All you need is a willing spirit.
Kelly Turner is a 200 RYT instructor that has been teaching regularly for the past six years. Please join her for FREE yoga in the Parish Hall from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m Monday, January 11, and January 25, 2016. Open to all.
Please bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and towel (yoga blocks and strap:optional).
As with any exercise regimen, please consult first with your physician .

Our annual mission trip to the Diocese of the Dominican Republic is scheduled from May 9-16, 2016, and the target date to join the team is January 31. If you have been thinking about joining this year's team, please contact Julia or Julius Ariail (229 559-7329) before that date. If you haven't yet considered joining this adventure, please c lick here for the trip's planning webpage for lots of information. The cost of the flights for this trip are increasing week by week -- currently $473.76, up from $433.60 on December 3, 2015.
Julia and Julius will be in the Dominican Republic from February 9-22, 2016, and during part of that time they will be at our mission work site in El Pedregal planning our 2016 work projects with the clergy and lay leaders of the Episcopal congregation there. It would be most helpful to know the number of our team members and their project interests before those planning meetings take place in February.
